Job Summary

Please note, this position requires in-office presence 4 days per week, with the option to work remotely 1 day per week. Relocation assistance is not available, and the selected candidate must be based in the Saint Paul, MN regional office.

Responsible for defining business intelligence requirements for specific subject areas; develops conceptual data models, designs, builds, and tests reporting and analytics programs; utilizes GIS to manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data, providing critical insights for decision-making and project support. Works cross-functionally to collect data and makes actionable recommendations at all levels. Infers trends from various data sources and confidently delivers interpretations; makes recommendations to executives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Performs all business intelligence analysis and data exploitation. Extracts signals and signatures from raw data, integrates that information with other data sources, and compiles/disseminates formatted reports to customers.
• Recommends improvements to business intelligence reports and interpretation of data for sales, business development, product, and executive committees.
• Designs and edits GIS data for various projects and analyzes spatial data using mapping software.
• Plans and executes system testing, requiring knowledge of the customer's mission and technology used.
• Leads analysis and reconciliation of data and reporting projects and initiatives.
• Develops, maintains, and reports relevant product, site, and customer metrics, applying findings to develop goals and projections.
• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is required
• Experience with ArcGIS, Python, Selenium, SQL is required
• Trains others in analytical and forecasting tools and statistical analysis.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance; able to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
