The Inbound Solar Energy Consultant plays a vital role in helping homeowners live more sustainably. This fully virtual sales position focuses on assisting customers through a consultative approach to educate them on residential solar benefits, guide them in selecting the best solar program, and support them through the proposal process. Post-commitment, you will collaborate with trusted contractors to ensure a seamless installation experience.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively cross-sell GoodLeap products to current customers and educate prospective customers on residential solar benefits using a consultative approach.
  • Utilize advanced technologies to prepare and review solar proposals for potential customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and installation process.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to contribute to the company's growth and success.
  • Consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • At least 1 year of residential solar sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Strong relationship management skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
  • Positive, energetic attitude with excellent listening, reading, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Proficiency with standard productivity tools (MS Office, internet, CRM applications).
  • High integrity, honesty, and ethical sales practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Home Improvement Salesperson License required.

Compensation: $16 - $18/hour
