D&H Distributing Co. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Financial Planning & Analysis and Sales teams with financial modeling, evaluating strategic initiatives, and reporting to leadership.

The role collaborates with executives to monitor performance and maintain dashboards used to forecast KPI’s, ensuring data-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills are required.
• 5+ years of previous related analyst experience.
• Experience with business intelligence systems (Cognos, Hyperion) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytical requests of Finance and Sales; provide and measure status for strategic initiatives.
• Use database tools and Excel to identify and communicate key metrics to senior management.
• Propose projects to optimize cost, quality, and service based on data analysis.
• Build simulation models and analyze impacts of investments and changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to bridge gaps and establish partnerships.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and reporting on critical projects to the executive team.

Summary

A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, evaluating strategic initiatives and report creation to support the Financial Planning & Analysis and Sales teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with Leadership and Executives to evaluate opportunities and monitor the performance of the business. The position will also manage and maintain various dashboards used to track and forecast KPI’s as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
