Job summary

Irvine Company is seeking a finance professional to support the Finance & Investments team in underwriting and analytics for Office property investments.

Responsibilities include lease analytics, reinvestment project analysis, and evaluating new developments and acquisitions, with deliverables for executive decisions and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Four year degree with a preferred major in a business field.
• Two to three years work experience in a finance or analytical role in real estate.
• High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized, self-motivated and collaborative
• Experience with financial statement analysis; strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
• Superior communication and time management skills
• Advanced inExcel, including strong modeling capability; ARGUS experience preferred, but not required

The Finance & Investments team ("F&I") is responsible for financial underwriting and analytics in support of the investment activities of the Irvine Company Office Properties division.

• Analyze leasing decisions and prepare tenant credit analytics;
• Complete investment underwriting and analysis for reinvestment projects;
• Assist in the evaluation of new developments and potential acquisition opportunities;
• Prepare deliverables and financial exhibits to support Office investment decisions, including capital requests and internal executive communication;
• Structure custom analyses that drive insight into the division's operating and financial performance; and
• Support strategic initiatives (e.g. competitive research, monitoring pricing trends and internal process improvements).
