Job Summary

Interfaces with the customer in developing requirements for major projects of considerable complexity; prepares system design specifications; conducts research to resolve customer initiated issues related to core systems processing; and coordinates and manages project teams in the development of large multi-system, multi-platform projects along with implementing the test approach. This position is responsible for implementing the test approach, strategy for test automation and test analytics, enforcing test quality standards, and providing whole project support and oversight. In addition, it involves integration with other projects. Responsible for leading and providing accurate and timely creation and execution of UAT test artifacts and tasks.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Works closely with customer to develop requirements for major projects of considerable complexity.
• Prepares general system design specifications.
• Creates, reviews, analyzes and estimates project requests.
• Performs research and analysis of customer inquiries, leveraging extensive programming experience and technical tools to debug/analyze problems.
• Fields questions from Molina Operations Staff regarding business, technical, and operational rules.
• Develops technical solutions to complex business and system problems.
• Leads development teams through project implementation.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers, handling all aspects of client relations concerning technical projects, including notifying the client of implementation schedules and coordinating presentation of results.
• Mentors others and shares business and system knowledge.
• Develops, reviews, and validates test results per requirements.
• Creates, presents, and executes functional and acceptance test cases in accordance with project requirements.
• Leads project test tasks from requirements review through deployment, including work assignment, prioritization, and issue triage.
• Evaluates and tests new or modified software products and validates documentation prior to release.
• Prepares and designs test plans and test cases for both new and existing features (regression testing).
• Understands other MMIS changes that may impact the customer and notifies the customer ahead of implementation.
• Vendor Management: Acts as single point of contact for vendors, coordinates installation, upgrades, and problem resolution.
• Supports Integrated Test Facility (QA) as needed.
• Works effectively both in a team setting and individually within deadlines, including accelerated timelines to meet deployment goals.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in business systems and related fields.
• Experience in testing and data analytics required.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
