Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking a qualified candidate to join our logistics team in a quality/inventory support role. The position involves analyzing customer-reported defects on inventory, monitoring productivity and SOP compliance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through daily interactions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation or distribution environments, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, SAP, and EWM.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred.
• Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with office software and ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of customer reported defects on inventory.
• Monitoring daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing.
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Investigate (and correct) any quality related issues.
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Quality Supervisor.

Our operation is based in Mesa, AZ and supports Boeing Aerospace in the area. We manage and operate a warehouse facility providing pick and pack, sequencing, and inventory management support.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Analysis of customer reported defects on inventory
• Monitoring daily productivity, SOP compliance, KPI performance and invoicing
• Interacting with the customer on a daily basis and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Expert in Microsoft (Excel) – Other systems: SAP & EWM
• Various reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies
• Investigate (and correct) any quality related issues
• Other tasks delegated by the customer and/or Quality Supervisor

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Experience in transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred
• Able to work a maximum 40 hour work week.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Moderate proficiency with office based software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Associate’s Degree preferred but not required
