Who We Want
The Sr. Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) Analyst on our Compliance team, will be primarily responsible for ensuring periodic reviews of the Firm’s transaction monitoring rule scenarios, and oversight of the AML Groups’ policies and standards governance responsibilities. The role of the Sr. AML Analyst, Compliance helps protect the firm and its clients from money laundering, fraud, and other illicit conduct. They will focus on the overall day-to-day operational responsibilities of the firm’s AML program. The position also helps ensure effective management of risk at the firm and ensuring the firm maintains compliance with the key regulations.
What To Expect
- Provide oversight and management of AML policies and standards governance to ensure documentation is comprehensive and adheres to regulatory requirements
- Assist with the review and or develop and deliver AML Program trainings for all business line stakeholders
- Responsible for understanding and performing duties in a manner which is consistent with the Anti-Money Laundering Act (“AML”) and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (“OFAC”). This includes understanding any responsibilities outlined under the OFAC Program, participating in any required training and promptly complying with all reporting requirements
- Manage AML and OFAC Program recordkeeping and retention requirements
- Work closely with the Managers to execute other strategic initiatives, process improvements and program enhancements for AML and OFAC
- Perform extensive investigations related to transaction monitoring and customer due diligence/enhanced due diligence that could implicate potential money laundering, fraud, or terrorist financing
- Conduct analysis on transactional data and alert monitoring to make determinations of irregular activity through understanding of historical client activity and regulatory definitions of suspicious activity.
- Monitor financial transactions
- Escalate and communicate findings, alerts and red flags to management
- Contribute to policies and procedures that promote the effective management of AML
- Other duties related to compliance as assigned
What You Need
- Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility and a strong ability to multi-task while remaining highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate confidence to proactively identify potential concerns that call for formal attention, as well as ability to communicate that potential concern professionally
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization
- Acts as SME within the firm
Preferred Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5-7 previous years work experience at a financial institution with specific experience in AML/Fraud
- Series 7 & 66 licenses required, or obtained within 1 year
- CAMS and/or other AML certifications a plus
- Experience with Salesforce, FIS, and LexisNexis a plus

The Total Rewards Expected For This Role Include
- Starting annual base salary between $70,000 - $89,075.
- Variable compensation potential (Bonus and/or commissions)
