Anyware Robotics, based in Fremont, CA, seeks a Sr. AI Perception Engineer to advance its production 3D perception stack for warehouse robots.
You will own perception end‑to‑end—from problem definition and model development to deployment on robot hardware, monitoring, and production improvement—balancing accuracy, latency, and compute within real‑world constraints. You will work hands‑on with RGB‑D and point‑cloud data, using PyTorch and C++, collaborating with the Perception Team Lead and
Anyware Robotics builds general‑purpose mobile manipulator robots for industrial applications. Our robots are trusted by customers across logistics, retail, and manufacturing, supporting applications such as truck unloading, mobile palletizing, and machine tending.
The robots run on AnywareOS, our industrial physical intelligence system. Its architecture is modular and designed to generalize across applications without reprogramming. We are seeking a Sr. AI Perception Engineer to advance Anyware's production 3D AI perception stack for warehouse automation robots, with a focus on object localization, pose estimation, scene reconstruction, and deployment on robot compute within application cycle‑time constraints.
This role is for an engineer who builds AI perception that works on real sensor data and physical systems — not only on benchmarks — and who wants to take it through production and real‑world operation. You will own perception capabilities end to end within your area — problem definition, model and pipeline development, deployment on robot hardware, monitoring, failure analysis, and production improvement — and make pragmatic tradeoffs across accuracy, reliability, latency, compute, data, maintainability, engineering effort, and delivery timelines.
This is a hands‑on senior individual‑contributor role. You will own the design decisions in your area, contribute to architecture and design reviews, and work closely with the Perception Team Lead and Staff engineers who set technical direction across the perception stack.
The expected salary range for this role is 150K-240K USD/year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Additional compensation may include equity, benefits, or other incentives, where applicable.
Anyware is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
