Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for Special Programs Supercomputing to build tooling used by cleared engineers at classified sites. The role requires a strong background in Go or Python and significant Kubernetes experience, along with the ability to implement deployment generators, CI matrices, and air-gapped tooling.

The position may require extended hours and travel to government sites, and candidates must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, math, computer engineering, physics, data science or engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Go and/or Python.
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes or similar tooling for automating, developing and scaling containerized applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the deployment generator.
• Create and maintain platform documentation.
• Build the bundle pipeline.
• Implement profile-driven rendering for public cloud, on-prem and air-gap targets.
• Build and maintain the cross-profile CI matrix.
• Build the testing and validation framework.
• Integrate with the Supercompute team's operators, Helm charts, and CRDs.
