Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. AI Engineer for Special Programs Supercomputing to design, build, and maintain tooling that supports cleared engineers operating in classified environments.

You will render profile-driven deployments for multiple targets and integrate with existing infrastructure, ensuring deterministic, well-tested tooling. Required are 5+ years in Go/Python and Kubernetes, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Go Lang and/or Python.
• 5+ years of experience working with Kubernetes or similar tooling for automating, developing and scaling containerized applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the deployment generator.
• Create and maintain platform documentation.
• Build the bundle pipeline.
• Implement profile-driven rendering for public cloud, on-prem, and air-gap targets.
• Build and maintain the cross-profile CI matrix.
• Build the testing and validation framework.
• Integrate with the Supercompute team’s operators, Helm charts, and CRDs by consuming their work as inputs to the generator.
• Own the monitoring stack migration.
