Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an AI Engineer on Special Programs Supercomputing to design, build, and operate tooling for cleared engineers at classified sites. The role enables deployment, testing, and monitoring across air-gap and on-prem environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 1+ years in Go or Python, 1+ years with Kubernetes or similar tooling, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Some travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience in Go Lang and/or Python.
• 1+ years of experience with Kubernetes or similar tooling for automating, developing and scaling containerized applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the deployment generator.
• Create and maintain platform documentation.
• Build the bundle pipeline.
• Implement profile-driven rendering for public cloud, on-prem, and air-gap targets.
• Build and maintain the cross-profile CI matrix.
• Build the testing and validation framework.
• Integrate with the Supercompute team’s operators, Helm charts, and CRDs as inputs.
