JOB SUMMARY:

Apply principles, techniques, and best practices in planning, organizing, and implementing complex projects that are not always clearly defined. Manage multiple cross-functional projects to create synergy. Partner with stakeholders to execute initiatives aligned with key priorities. This includes creating new work products and processes or refining existing ones.

Job Roles And Responsibilities
  • Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close project activities.
  • Define and verify scope, develop project plans and timetables, and create roles and responsibilities matrix.
  • Develop work plans for each subproject/department and prepare summaries for management review.
  • Execute and maintain project plans; review, track, monitor, and report on project status; identify, track, and resolve issues with viable solutions.
  • Calculate, mitigate, and monitor risks, creating contingency plans and advising management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all departments, stakeholders, and external customers involved with projects.
  • Mentor a team of project managers, if necessary.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the company's core values.
  • This role is considered high risk due to exposure to PHI sensitive data.
JOB SCOPE:

Work under minimal direction, using independent judgment to identify issues, trends, and problems. Evaluate results on large, complex projects that may not be clearly defined. Use expertise and broad knowledge, acting as a mentor if needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years related experience; graduate degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in project management, preferably in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data engineering teams and Kanban methodology.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry workflows, especially healthcare claim processing.
  • Strong communication, project management, analytic, organizational, interpersonal, and technical skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with software like Jira.
  • Ability to develop relationships and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexible and creative in problem solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to anticipate business needs with a business owner mindset.
  • Understanding of project management best practices.
Compensation:

$105k-$125k, with health insurance, 401k, and bonus opportunities.
