Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Agile Project Manager with exceptional communication and documentation skills to lead Agile delivery for cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is proficient in writing user stories and epics, facilitating backlog grooming sessions, and serving as a critical liaison between technical teams and product management. This role is responsible for driving Agile best practices, managing project milestones, and ensuring business value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile delivery for software and product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical capabilities.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Write high-quality epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria that accurately capture business and technical requirements.
  • Drive backlog grooming sessions in partnership with Product Owners, ensuring stories are appropriately prioritized, estimated, and ready for development.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate business vision and strategy into actionable work.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders with clarity and precision.
  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of deliverables, scope, decisions, and process flows.
  • Must be able to craft decks in powerpoint or google slides for executive presentation.
  • Remove impediments and proactively identify opportunities to improve team velocity and Agile maturity.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior PMs and Scrum Masters on Agile practices and stakeholder engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Agile project management, preferably in a software development or product-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to craft detailed epics and user stories and lead backlog management processes.
  • Google slides. Has to be able to cut decks for various presentations for different personas.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and stakeholder facilitation.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with product managers, developers, QA, and business teams.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, AHA, or similar Agile management platforms.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams in a Scrum or SAFe Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, Lean thinking, and iterative development.

Qualifications:

  • Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist).
  • Experience working in machine learning and AI delivery
  • Experience in enterprise-level programs and working across multiple teams or ARTs (Agile Release Trains).
  • Background in software development, product management, or business analysis.
