Job summary

The Senior Agency Claims Advocate position at Jonus Group is a hybrid role designed to provide expert claims advocacy for middle to large market accounts across General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Property, Commercial Auto, and Professional Lines.

The ideal candidate will bring a consultative approach to claims management, collaborating with sales and service teams to deliver exceptional client support. Minimum 5 years of claims experience and a P&C license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior claims experience with a carrier, TPA, agency, or internal claims management.
• Licenses/ Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; ARM/CRIS/WCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on coverage options and claims processes.
• Track claims throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Conduct claims reviews with clients, offering insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to address client needs and enhance service delivery.
• Manage claims for middle to large market accounts, with account sizes ranging from $300,000 to $3 million.
• Utilize EPIC software to manage claims documentation and communication.

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agency Claims Advocate to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in providing expert claims advocacy for middle to large market accounts, including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Property, Commercial Auto, and Professional Lines. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative approach to claims management, collaborating with sales and service teams to deliver exceptional client support. This is a hybrid position, offering a mix of in-office and remote work flexibility.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 annually
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office for the first 30 days, 1 day in-office thereafter)

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on coverage options and claims processes.
• Track claims throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Conduct claims reviews with clients, offering insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to address client needs and enhance service delivery.
• Manage claims for middle to large market accounts, with account sizes ranging from $300,000 to $3 million.
• Utilize EPIC software to manage claims documentation and communication.
• Build strong relationships with clients in industries such as manufacturing, hospitality/restaurant, and logistics.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; additional designations such as ARM, CRIS, or WCIS are preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of prior claims experience with a carrier, TPA, agency, or internal claims management.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with claims in manufacturing, hospitality/restaurant, and logistics industries is highly desirable.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software or similar claims management tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong consultative approach, organizational skills, process orientation, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
