Job summary

Space Kinetic is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to transition from prototype to scalable production. You will develop manufacturing processes, implement automation, and build the manufacturing infrastructure to support future production.

Collaborate with Engineering, Machine Shop, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure manufacturability and continuous improvement. Join a fast-paced aerospace startup and help establish Lean initiatives, layout optimization, and capacity planning while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/robotics/high-performance manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, assembly, and production processes.
• Experience implementing Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced startup environment.
• U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident.
