Job Summary and Description

Performs moderate complex work providing advising to students from entry to completion. Responsible for implementing the academic advising strategies and achievement of student learning outcomes. May provide services for special populations.

This position will support the implementation and operations of the Alamo Colleges Future Ready Bexar County program.

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience, education and training that equates to the required degree.
• Two years’ of related experience, preferably in a college setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Four years’ of related experience.
• Experienceworking with first-generation and low-income students and their families.
• Trackrecord of successful student recruitment at community events and activecommunity engagement.
• Experience actively engaging with and serving K-12 populations, including middleschool students, families, educators.
