Sr Advanced Electrical Engineer (Finance)

Are you ready to be at the forefront of revolutionary advancements in aviation technology? As a Senior Advanced Electrical Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you have the unique opportunity to lead pioneering electrical engineering projects in the exciting realms of flight control actuation systems.

In this role, you will oversee the design, development, and cutting-edge implementation of state-of-the-art electrical systems and components that directly influence the performance of innovative flight surfaces components. You will provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to a dynamic team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in aerospace engineering. You'll work side by side with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, driving innovation and enhancing processes to achieve ambitious project objectives.

Reporting directly to our Senior Engineering Program Manager, you'll be based in our Tempe, Arizona location, embracing a hybrid work schedule that balances flexibility and teamwork.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
  • Execute electrical circuit design team project tasks
  • Complete assignments by applying electrical engineering methods
  • Generate Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs)
  • Leverage knowledge of circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems/failures uncovered by circuit card tests
  • Prepare investigation and test results to document findings
Qualifications
You Must Have
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering principles, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and project management applications.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
