Job summary

Akaasa Technologies in Florida is seeking an senior AEM Architect to lead enterprise-grade implementations, migrations, and multi-site strategies. You will own architecture decisions, design reusable components, and guide governance for branding and localization across platforms.

You will drive cloud delivery, code-quality, and integrations with ERP/CRM, analytics, identity systems, and DAM while ensuring upgrade-safe patterns and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years architecting AEM solutions and recent AEM as a Cloud Service experience.
• Deep knowledge of AEM Sites, Assets/DAM, Core Components, editable templates, workflows, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, Java, and REST APIs.
• Led complex migrations from other CMSs into AEM with ownership of architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for multi-site and multi-brand deployments with governance over brand, region, locale, and property variation.
• Reduce custom code and enforce upgrade-safe patterns while defining non-functional requirements.
• Oversee cloud delivery: AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD, Git, Maven, automated testing, dispatcher/CDN, environment strategy, observability, security and production support.
• Drive integrations with enterprise APIs for booking/commerce, identity/loyalty, analytics, consent/privacy, search, CRM, and DAM/media.

Location: Local to Florida but Open to remote

AEM architecture

5+ years architecting AEM solutions, including recent AEM as a Cloud Service experience. Deep knowledge of AEM Sites, Assets/DAM, Core Components, editable templates, workflows, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, Java, and REST APIs.

Enterprise migrations

Led at least one complex migration from Sitecore, legacy CMS, agency-managed platforms, or multiple CMSs into AEM. Must have owned architecture, not only development.

Multi-site and multi-brand

Designed shared component and template strategies with governed brand, region, locale, or property variation. Experience with MSM, localization, translation, and rollout governance is strongly preferred.

Architecture quality

Demonstrated ability to reduce custom code, use upgrade-safe patterns, enforce code quality, define non-functional requirements, and make build-versus-reuse decisions.

Cloud delivery

AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD, Git, Maven, automated testing, dispatcher/CDN and caching, environment strategy, observability, security, and production support.

Integrations

Enterprise APIs and integrations involving booking/commerce, identity/loyalty, analytics, consent/privacy, search, CRM, DAM/media, or third-party services.
