JOB SUMMARY
Works under direction to assist with management of moderately complex administrative and/or business functions of department, division, or unit.
UT Southwestern has an opening for the position of Sr. Administrative Assistant II in Burn, Trauma, Acute and Critical Care Surgery.
This position provides administrative support to 5-6 faculty members of Division of Burn Trauma Acute Critical Care Surgery by the following duties: coordinate meetings and travel arrangements for conference attendance, coordinates re-credentialing, maintaining, calendars, licensures. travel budget tracking spreadsheet, society memberships and compliance to governing bodies. Submission of travel and expense reimbursements, IDRs and Payment requests. Manage correspondences, order supplies, and entering Division Call schedules. Ad hoc projects as needed.
To be successful, highly qualified candidates will be a self-starter, resourceful, and able to work well in a team environment. This individual will provide administrative support for faculty and staff, and they will assist with research activities. The successful candidate will have a high level of written and oral communication, documented customer service skills, ability to effectively prioritize and manage time effectively, demonstrated follow through and excellent work ethic.
