Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

WORK LOCATION: 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Days (7A-7P) for 36 hrs./week. Weekend and holiday requirements.

ICU DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

• Self-scheduling unit with 30 beds.
• Dedicated to intensive care for the region’s most critically ill patients.
• Guided by board-certified critical care physicians, available 24 hours.
• Care provided by critical care nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
• Recognized with Beacon Gold-level of excellence in 2015, 2018, and 2022.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• 6 months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR Residency program.
• LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse—Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting.
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
