Job Description:

Position Details:

• Job#: 2065699
• Title: Sr. Actuarial Analyst
• Location: Remote (must reside in Florida)
• Type: Permanent
• Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually

Responsibilities:

1. Provide statistical data analysis and construct probability tables to forecast risk and liability.
2. Support product rate filings, reserve calculations, group underwriting, and experience reporting.
3. Develop and maintain financial models for monitoring and projecting business performance.
4. Maintain rating models and database support programs used in underwriting.
5. Submit weekly progress reports on projects.
6. Assist in developing and pricing new products and enhancements, collaborating with departments.
7. Contribute to financial modeling for reserves, risk funding, and budgets.
8. Support design, review, and compliance of health insurance plans for employer groups.
9. Assist in pricing for Large Group business and support pricing models.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science from an accredited institution.
2. GPA of 3.4 or higher during college studies.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar programming languages.
4. Successful completion of three actuarial exams.
5. Familiarity with laws and regulations related to managed care.
6. Basic understanding of insurance terminology.
7. Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
8. Knowledge of economics, accounting, and financial reporting.
9. Excellent document, spelling, and grammar skills.
10. Ability to perform support tasks in areas like Filing, Financial, Group Services, or Underwriting.
11. Experience working with underwriting, risk adjustment, finance, or senior management.
12. At least two years of experience in relevant support areas.
