Description

Reporting to the Manager, Actuarial Analytics, the Senior Actuarial Analyst analyzes the financial performance of the Commercial line of business and leads rate development and filing efforts, including competitive analysis, network analysis, risk adjustment, trend, actuarial benefit value analysis, and rate adequacy review.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or related field
• Successful completion of 4+ exams of the ASA designation
• 5 years healthcare actuarial experience
• Experience with SQL or similar programming languages
• 2 years actuarial experience
• Project management experience in data and financial analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• ASA designation
• FSA or ASA designation upon hire
• Experience with actuarial modeling and automation using Excel VBA and SQL
