Position Title : Sr Acquisition Analyst (DTRA)

Job Description :

The Sr. Acquisition Analyst will provide procurement, acquisition, and contracting expertise to ensure compliance with federal, DoD, MHS, Army/MRMC, and DHA regulations, including FAR and DFARS. Responsibilities include drafting Statements of Work, coordinating with Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), preparing procurement requests, supporting acquisition strategies, and tracking contract expenditures.

Requirements :

  1. Assist CORs in drafting SOWs, SOOs, PWS, and PBSOWs.
  2. Communicate regularly with CORs and understand their functions.
  3. Prepare and monitor Procurement Requests (PR) packages.
  4. Support the DHA and USAMRAA procurement processes.
  5. Draft special clauses and sole source justifications as needed.
  6. Develop acquisition strategies and assist in developing IGCEs and Market Research documents.
  7. Support QASP development and contract closeout processes.
  8. Assist with invoice certification and monitor contract expenditures.
  9. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with FAR and DFARS regulations.

Preferred Qualifications :

  1. 5-7 years of experience supporting defense contracts, preferably within the Defense Health Agency.
  2. Experience with medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability, flexible spending accounts, 401K, paid time off, and holidays.
