Responsibilities
- Provide expert functional support for Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials/EPM systems, responding to issues, recommending corrective actions, coordinating with IT, and ensuring smooth processes.
- Partner with IT to implement fixes, modifications, enhancements, and new systems.
- Develop, document, and implement test plans for new systems and upgrades.
- Conduct system testing and review release notes for change requests and system updates.
- Provision, support, and maintain security access for associates globally, ensuring compliance through security testing and analysis.
- Support the annual IT audit regarding accounting systems access controls.
- Write and maintain queries and reports for end users using SmartView, Oracle Financial Reporting Studio, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, SQL, and Power BI.
- Determine system requirements, communicate specifications, reports, project plans, or other documentation.
- Collaborate with business to identify and document requirements and implement appropriate specifications, monitoring compliance.
- Document current state business processes, provide best practice recommendations, create end‑user documentation, and conduct system training for new hires.
- Perform data analysis, act as analytics resource, verify data accuracy, and communicate findings.
- Identify issues affecting system processes and assist in corrective actions.
Required Skills
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials ERP modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Fixed Assets, and Procurement) and ability to further develop knowledge of business processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to conceptualize, formulate, and convey complex solutions concisely.
- Track record of process improvement through innovation and creative problem‑solving.
- Positive, proactive, self‑motivated, adaptable, and flexible in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of combined Accounting/Finance and Financial Systems experience, with at least 3 years working with Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials/EPM.
- Experience working in the Insurance Industry is a plus.
- Operational/Technical knowledge in General Ledger and Subledger Accounting.
- Experience working with managed services and/or offshore teams.
