AEG Worldwide in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. Accountant to drive accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliation efforts for venue operations.

You will code invoices, manage show settlements, and support budgeting and forecasts with the accounting team. Responsibilities include balance sheet analysis, journal entries, payroll audits, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure compliance and timely financials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Experience with JDE, ImageNow, and Concur.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to multi-task and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with Word and Outlook; strong Excel skills (pivot tables).
• Strong financial analytical skills with experience in finance reporting systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team to meet department goals.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
• Music industry knowledge and concert operation experience.
• CPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile balance sheet, GL, AR and AP.
• Code invoices, road checks, cash receipts; create invoices for receivables.
• Manage monthly close, journaling, and budgeting/reforecasting.
• Prepare show files, settlements, and audits as assigned.
• Coordinate with Accounting Manager/Director of Accounting on monthly closes.
• Liaise with staff, CAPs and part-time employees to ensure payroll accuracy.
