Job summary

Universal Health Services in Texas seeks a Senior Accountant to manage Net Revenue calculations for selected FEDs and prepare MFR variance explanations for Acute Regional Finance. The role serves as the primary resource for Accountants on daily and monthly Accounting/AR/AP/PFS and Supply Chain processes, coordinates audits, and supports annual budget activities.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Accounting in a Healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficient in Account Analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office PowerPoint & Excel, with emphasis on Pivots & Smart View functions.
• Familiar with PCBS and other budgeting healthcare software.
• Commitment to compliance with policies and Code of Conduct.

Assists with month-end review of schedules prepared by Accountants. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Three or more years of experience in Accounting, within a Healthcare setting is preferred
2. Proficient in Account Analysis required
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Powerpoint & Excel, with emphasis on Pivots & Smart View functions.
4. Familiar with PCBS and other budgeting healthcare software
5. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
