Manay CPA Accounting & Tax Services, a GA-based accounting and advisory firm, seeks an experienced professional to manage taxation, accounting, payroll, and client services. You will ensure compliance with US tax laws, collaborate with sales teams for client growth, and lead accounting operations for diverse clients.

The role requires a CPA or EA, 5+ years of full-cycle accounting and tax experience, and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset focused on long-term career advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field.
• CPA or EA credential required.
• 5+ years of professional full-cycle accounting and tax experience; public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management.
• Ensure strict compliance with US tax laws and timely filing of returns and payments.
• Support client acquisition alongside sales and business development teams.
• Oversee AR/AP processes, invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software like QuickBooks.
• Analyze financial data to derive insights and improve performance.
• Mentor junior staff and support onboarding of engagements.
• Assist in audits and prepare year-end schedules as needed.
• Help document and test processes impacting financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management
• Ensure strict compliance with US taxation laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments
• Collaborate closely with the sales and business development team to support client acquisition efforts and help grow the firm's client base
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, encompassing invoicing, collections, payments, and meticulous reconciliation
• Maintain meticulous and current financial records and documentation, utilizing advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks
• Analyze financial data and trends to derive actionable insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency
• Foster collaboration across departments to align financial strategies with business initiatives and strategic objectives
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, cultivating a supportive and collaborative work environment
• Facilitate smooth client onboarding processes for all assigned engagements, ensuring adherence to established protocols
• Actively contribute to client acquisition and retention efforts, delivering unparalleled customer service at every interaction
• Organize and update financial records, both digital and physical, to ensure accuracy and accessibility
• May participate in external audits, collaborating with auditors and providing required documentation and information as needed
• Prepare comprehensive year-end audit schedules and provide support throughout the audit process as needed
• Assist in documenting, designing, and testing processes and procedures impacting financial statements or company performance
• Drive efficiency by assisting in the automation of systems and spreadsheets to streamline accounting functions and processes

Job Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related; Master's degree is a plus
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is a must
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax. Experience in Public Accounting is preferred
• Comfort with, and interest in, client acquisition and business development activities
• Growth-oriented mindset, with a genuine interest in long-term career advancement; strong performers may grow into leadership responsibilities over time
• International Tax Law knowledge is a PLUS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software
• Experience with UltraTax and/or other tax preparation software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be dependable, able to work independently, and stay on task
• Positive and team player personality
