Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will perform professional accounting functions, prepare financial reports, assist with year-end close, and support internal audits in a multi-specialty medical setting.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and at least five years of accounting experience, with advanced Excel skills and strong reconciliation capabilities to support audit schedules and management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field required; minimum five years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience preparing audit schedules and internal management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly Board of Directors meeting report.
• Manage intercompany and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead timely clearing of reconciling items and prepare annual audit schedules.
• Prepare monthly internal board reports.

SUMMARY: The Senior Accountant reports to and performs professional accounting functions as designated. Prepares financial and statistical reports. Assists with year-end closing of books and preparing of reports. Performs internal audit functions and projects, as assigned. Responsible for reconciliations and client prepared audit schedules.

HOURS:8:30am-5:30pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field is required.Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting. In-depth experience with computers, Proficient with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (Vlook-ups, Pivot Tables). Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Heavy balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations as well as prepared by client audit schedules as well as bank reconciliations. Internal management reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for producing the monthly Board of Directors Meeting Report. Responsible for Intercompany and all other Balance Sheet Reconciliation's. Review and lead clearing of reconciling items timely. Prepare annual audit schedules. Prepare monthly internal board reports.
