Job summary

Universal Health Services in Riverside, CA is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Registration Clerk to handle incoming calls and assist patients with registration, eligibility checks, and payment updates. SUMMARY: Responsible for responding to all incoming calls, and assisting patients with direct registration, eligibility, and payment updates.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree required. One-year prior experience in customer service required. Must have basic typing, 10-Key, and word processing skills.

2. Answer phone calls on a daily basis. Must be able to handle several incoming lines and direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely professional manner.
3. Assist in updating of patient demographics/registration
4. Assist in verifying patients’ insurance eligibility.
5. Complete QRM occurrence reports as needed.
