Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. You will prepare journal entries, perform month-end close, and analyze balance sheets and income statements to support business decisions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with Word and Excel. AS400 and Lawson experience are a plus; this role offers steady payroll and benefits.

• Self-motivated team player with an ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including overtime.
• Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and adhere to tight timelines.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Knowledge of AS400 and Lawson accounting programs a plus.
