Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its growing accounting team in a hybrid role. This position focuses on the monthly close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity while partnering with finance and business leaders to drive accurate results.

You will support journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, contribute to internal controls, and participate in system enhancements and audits to strengthen data quality and process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA license or active progress toward CPA certification is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations across the income statement and balance sheet.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analyses to support leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and operational business partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist with maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and overall data integrity.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
