Job summary

You will collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs teams to maintain the integrity of the sales process and drive revenue growth. The role requires strong sales experience, communication, and leadership with a focus on meeting quotas and building strategic relationships with large data centers and enterprise

Qualifications

• 5 years sales experience, preferably in the tech industry.
• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred.
• Deep knowledge of and sold server, storage or related software solutions to customers.
• Experience dealing with C-level executives and large data centers preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership across disciplines, cultures, and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales goals to meet the sales target.
• Make outbound cold calls to potential customers and manage quotas.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets.
• Build relationships and communicate product and market information professionally.
• Coordinate with OEM/Engineering, Finance, Logistics and Programs teams.
• Monitor inventory, negotiate price, enter and monitor client orders, and manage returns.
• Back up the manager as needed.

Job Summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Account Manager responsible for successfully expanding Supermicro's customer base in targeted areas to work in the company's headquarters in San Jose, CA. Senior Account Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through various means of marketing activities and working with cross functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales goals with exceptional execution to meet the sales target
• Responsible for making outbound cold calls to potential customers, consistently achieve lead and appointment quotas. Successfully manage and overcome objections
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets
• Develop relationships, communicate product and market information to the potential customers in professional manner
• Disseminate opportunities to OEM Sales Director providing appropriate communications on opportunities
• Monitor inventory, negotiate price, enter and monitor client's orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
• Serve as backup for manager has needed

Qualifications

• 5 years sales experience, prior experience in tech-industry is desirable
• Bachelor degree in business or engineering is preferred
• Must have deep knowledge of and sold server, storage or related software solutions to customers in the cloud, enterprise or embedded markets
• Experience dealing with C level executives and large data centers preferred
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills in a challenging environment, with strong analytical skills in market and industry research to fully utilize the market need
• Great leadership and strong ability of working with and managing people
• Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies

Salary Range

$84,000- $112,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
