Upright Labs is seeking a strategic and service-oriented Senior Account Manager to help strengthen long-term partnerships with our growing portfolio of e-commerce clients. In this high-impact role, you'll focus on driving retention, building customer loyalty, and uncovering smart growth opportunities. As the main point of contact for your accounts, you'll balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. Success in this role comes from being proactive, collaborative, open to feedback, and deeply committed to delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients.

This is a fully remote role; all candidates must be based in the US.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to a portfolio of e-commerce clients, offering thoughtful guidance, performance insights, and clear communication.
  • Take time to understand each client's goals, challenges, and success metrics to align our solutions in a meaningful way.
  • Support client retention by being responsive to their needs and aiming to create a smooth, positive experience.
  • Foster strong and lasting relationships through regular engagement and consistent delivery of value.
  • Help identify ways clients might benefit from additional services, features, or products.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to explore and support upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Keep a close eye on account health and key metrics—like adoption, engagement, and satisfaction—to help guide priorities and address concerns early.
  • Represent the client perspective internally, using their feedback to help drive improvements across product, support, and operations.
  • Facilitate regular business reviews and performance check-ins, using data and storytelling to reinforce value and share ideas for continued growth.
  • Develop client-facing reports and presentations that clearly show how our work supports their business goals and ROI.

What You Bring:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or a related role (SaaS or e-commerce experience is a plus).
  • Experience supporting and expanding client relationships, with exposure to upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Familiarity with retention strategies and client engagement best practices.
  • Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and visual—with an emphasis on building trust and rapport.
  • An openness to feedback and a genuine interest in learning and contributing to a collaborative team.
  • A thoughtful, solution-oriented mindset with curiosity, positivity, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Comfortable working with KPIs, creating client-facing reports, and participating in growth-focused discussions.
  • A data-aware approach with the ability to share insights and metrics in a clear and approachable way.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and analytics platforms.
