Amazon.com Services LLC in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Account Executive to oversee relationships with Amazon Freight’s largest Customers and drive new business growth while maximizing retention of an existing portfolio.
Responsibilities include defining growth plans, partnering with operations to create scalable plans, and working with Pricing, Sales, and Ops teams to deliver high‑quality customer outcomes. Strong leadership and complex negotiation skills are required.
Amazon Freight is a fast‑growing startup, externalizing Amazon's transportation capabilities as a service. Amazon Freight provides truckload and intermodal services, on the world class network and capabilities currently used to operate Amazon’s own freight movements. As a Senior Account Executive, this role will oversee relationships with Amazon Freight’s largest Customers. We are looking for complex problem solvers who are able to build and manage relationships with senior leaders at Fortune 500 customers. In this role, the Senior Account Executive will drive new business growth by unlocking new commercial opportunities and selling creative solutions aligned to customer needs while also maximizing retention of an existing portfolio of business. The position will build and customize solutions with internal Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams that will unlock new business while also delivering a high-quality customer experience.
As the primary relationship manager, this role will be responsible for customer advocacy, collaborating to deliver on customer commitments, drive continuous improvement and create a high-performing profitable business with the customer(s). This role requires a collaborative business builder mindset to work cross‑functionally to operate in a startup environment at Amazon. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
