Position Summary:
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is a pure new-business hunting role focused exclusively on generating and closing net-new revenue for CloudFirst. This is not an account management or book-of-business role: the SAE will not inherit an install base, renewal book, or house accounts. Success depends entirely on the ability to self-source pipeline, run a disciplined sales process, and close new logos.
The ideal candidate has a demonstrated, verifiable track record of closing net-new Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) selling non-IBM infrastructure and managed services, including cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and hardware, with a demonstrated ability to close a minimum of $100,000 in net-new MRR over a 12-month period. IBM Power Systems/IBM i experience is a strong plus, not a requirement. This is a true hunter role: pipeline is self-built through prospecting, partner relationships, and market presence, not handed over.
