Summary:

Evidera is seeking a Sr. Account Director, Business Development, with proven skills in business development, client management, and stakeholder engagement to drive the success of our consulting practice areas.

We support executives at leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies using scientific research, data analysis, and extensive experience to inform critical commercial and development decisions related to pharmaceutical strategy, market access, and evidence generation.

This role offers a unique entrepreneurial opportunity for candidates experienced in advising and winning new clients, with a solid understanding of life sciences and related market issues in HEOR, Data Analytics, Market Access, and RWE. It provides the chance to be an integral part of a team with a rewarding career path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client account and relationship management
  • Development of new business opportunities across consulting practice areas
  • Strategic and tactical account planning in collaboration with scientific delivery teams
  • Coordination with sales, finance, legal, and support functions to drive business and meet sales targets

Qualifications

This role requires proactive sales activities targeted at decision-makers and influencers, including defining solutions and proposing pricing to meet strategic goals. The primary contact will serve until project kickoff, after which coordination with relevant business areas ensures successful implementation. The role acts as a liaison between Evidera and PPD CRG for business development activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications
  • Previous experience (equivalent to 5+ years) providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Scientific background with sales and/or marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sectors
  • Proven ability to develop mid- and high-level business contacts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for managing and expanding relationships across operations, finance, and marketing
  • Experience in lead development, professional presentations, sales process management, and contract negotiations
  • Familiarity with sales automation systems and Microsoft Office

No current management responsibilities, but potential for future growth

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with exposure to electrical equipment
  • Occasional travel to client sites, domestic and international
