Senior SAP ABAP Developer – Production Engineering, US Money Movement organization

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients, product managers, architects and software engineers to design, develop, debug, test and implement solutions for large‑scale companies.
• Participate in daily stand‑up calls, prioritize work, and manage user stories or service tickets within release cycles.
• Perform analysis, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of SAP ABAP, S4 HANA, Gateway Services, OData, CDS views, AMDP, and SAP BW operations.
• Mentor junior developers, review code, enforce coding standards and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead application of full‑lifecycle ABAP custom development, including BAPI/BADI, Enhancement Framework, Workflows and Dialog programming.
• Ensure alignment with Finance processes (GL, Cash Management) and support operational readiness.
• Participate in release activities every couple of weeks, ensuring smooth production deployments.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and present progress to senior leadership.

To succeed in this role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and enterprise‑grade solutions.
• In‑depth knowledge of S4 HANA, SAP Gateway services, OData, CDS views, AMDP and SAP BW data flows (Info Objects, DSOs, Cubes, Multi‑providers, process chains).
• Strong full‑lifecycle ABAP skills (custom development, BAPI/BADI, Enhancement Framework, Workflows, Dialog programming).
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues, manage critical situations independently, and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership abilities.
