Job summary

Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking an Assistant Coach, Squash in Providence, Rhode Island, to assist the Head Coach in practice and game planning, and to recruit and develop student‑athletes. The role may involve travel, equipment coordination, and scheduling as needed.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years of coaching experience, or a minimum of 6 years of direct related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years coaching experience; or 6 years direct related experience in lieu of degree.
• Coaching in intercollegiate/professional/amateur environments preferred.
• Solid understanding of squash rules, strategies, and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in developing and executing practice and game strategy.
• Recruit and develop student-athletes; communicate with athletes and recruits.
• Assist in administrative duties including travel, equipment, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA/Ivy League rules and maintain confidentiality.
