Qualifications

• 5+ years of database administration and/or development experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Backup/recovery, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SSIS, Query Store, Extended Events, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with source control, deployment processes, high availability, and DR.
• Proficiency in SSMS and relational database design principles.
• Experience supporting deployments, schema changes, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical, documentation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support SQL Server database environments.
• Monitor performance, availability, backups, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot database, connectivity, and query performance issues.
• Develop, optimize, and support SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and scripts.
• Manage database security, permissions, auditing, and access controls.
• Support deployments, schema changes, and production releases.
• Develop and maintain ETL, data migration, and integration solutions.
• Support Azure SQL Database and SQL Server workloads in Azure.
• Automate recurring database administration, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide guidance to development teams.
