The role focuses on SQL Server 2019+ installations, upgrades, patching, migrations, and high availability through clustering or mirroring, with cloud experience in Azure or other platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks. The ideal candidate will have strong T-SQL skills, Windows knowledge, and the ability to support

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database.
At least 1 year of Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks experience (cert acceptable).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
Proven ability to communicate effectively using standard requirements and design artifacts.

Responsibilities

Monitor databases to maintain uptime and availability.
Troubleshoot connectivity, access, security, and application issues.
Tuning of long-running SQL queries.
Review and refine database tasks to align with priorities.
Support SQL Server installations (2022, 2025+) with failover clustering.
Work with Engineering and Operations teams; communicate clearly.
