Job summary

IntelliDyne, LLC in Washington, DC seeks an SQL Cognos Developer with 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing SQL-based solutions in Cognos/Oracle. You will work on complex BI projects, writing SQL/PLSQL and Python scripts, and supporting ad hoc reporting for a federal client.

Responsibilities include data analysis, BI solution delivery, ETL familiarity, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior Oracle/open systems environments
• 5+ years SQL/PLSQL experience and 5+ years Python scripting
• OLAP modeling familiarity
• ETL familiarity
• Strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge
• MBI Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis, design, programming, and modification of query programs (Cognos focus)
• Develop SQL/PLSQL and Python programs; tested before client
• Provide agile production support for application changes and ad hoc reports
• Provide technical and analytical support
• Develop BI reports in Cognos, Crystal Reports, and Business Objects Enterprise XI
• Translate customer requirements into BI solutions using Python
• Data modeling, BI specs, performance tuning, deployment support
• Requirements analysis for BI reporting
• QA/QC of standard and ad hoc reports
