The role requires 5+ years in mid- to senior-level BI and data warehousing, strong SQL/PL-SQL, and experience with Cognos, OLAP, ETL, and data modeling; U.S. security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a senior/open systems Oracle environment
• Minimum 5 years SQL and PL/SQL with 5 years of Python scripting
• Familiarity with OLAP modeling
• Familiarity with ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading)
• Strong understanding of relational structures, data modeling, SQL, data warehouse and reporting techniques
• Hands-on experience using SQL with Oracle
• Strong analytical and quality control experience for data accuracy
• Ability to work in a collaborative team on fast-paced projects
• Must have MBI Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analysis, design, programming, and modification of query programs inside Cognos and other applications
• Write SQL and PL/SQL and develop Python programs; test before client introduction
• Provide agile production support for application changes and ad hoc reporting
• Provide technical and analytical support
• Develop ad hoc SQL reports inside BI tools like Cognos and Crystal Reports
• Translate requirements into BI solutions using Python to query and analyze data
• Perform data modeling, BI app specs, performance tuning, and deployment support
• Analyze BI function requirements and estimate effort for reports development
• Provide QA/QC analysis of standard and ad hoc reports
