• 5–7 years of SQL development experience.
• Experience building SSRS reports and SSIS packages.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL Server objects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports using SSRS and SQL Server objects.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages using SSIS and SQL Server objects.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse using SQL Server technology (T-SQL, stored procedures, CTEs).
• Investigate and support new technology initiatives to improve database capabilities.
• Improve SSRS reports and database processes performance.
• Maintain all source code in GitHub.
• Use Jira or ADO for project/task management by the data team.
• Communicate effectively with clients across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Execute unit and QA testing, including writing test scripts and cases.
• Learn new programming techniques as needed.
• Collaborate with database personnel, front-end developers, and support teams.
• Be available to address critical software issues.
• Write documentation and SOPs.

Job Description

T-SQL development building scripts, stored procedures, and views.

Basic understanding of database design and table design.

SSRS development.

The client relies on consultants for staff augmentation, and tenure for consultant will be based on performance and demand for services.

We are looking for a team player who can support critical priorities, shift as needed, and fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SSRS reports using SSRS and SQL Server database objects.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages using SSIS and SQL Server database objects.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse using SQL Server technology, such as T-SQL, stored procedures, CTEs, etc.
• Investigate and support new technology initiatives to improve or enhance current database capabilities.
• Improve SSRS reports and database processes performance.
• Maintain all programming source code using GitHub.
• Utilize Jira or ADO for managing projects, tasks, and issues assigned to the data team.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with a wide range of clients, both internal and external, from technical to non-technical and from management to clerical.
• Experience in executing unit and QA testing, including writing test scripts and cases.
• Learn new applicable programming techniques as needed.
• Work with other database personnel, front-end programmers, and customer support as needed.
• Be available, as needed, should critical software issues arise.
• Write documentation and SOPs for future use.
