Job summary

LibSys Inc. is seeking an Analyst with a strong SQL Server background (5-10 years) to design, develop, test, and maintain statistical and financial applications.

The role emphasizes enterprise-grade stored procedures, performance tuning, and collaboration with ASP.NET/.NET teams in a data‑driven environment. This on-site Chicago position requires extensive SQL Server expertise, SSIS package development, CLR functions, and familiarity with Visual Studio.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of SQL Server experience.
• Designing, developing, testing and maintaining statistical and financial applications.
• Proficient in designing enterprise-level stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with testing and deployment in enterprise environments.
• Strong .NET framework and Visual Studio experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Analyst with technical background in SQL Server with 5-10 years of experience who has extensive knowledge in designing, developing, testing and maintaining statistical and financial applications using database management software with appropriate statistical and modeling background.

Skills Required

• Development experience with demonstrated proficiency in designing enterprise level complex stored procedures and functions in SQL Server
• Experience in developing SSIS packages, CLR functions within ASP.NET framework using C#, Visual Studio 2012/2010, .NET 4.0
• Insurance industry, statistical background, experience in developing complex financial applications highly preferred
• Exposure to WPF, WCF, Mapping/GIS a plus
• Exposure to catastrophe models a plus
