Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. is seeking a Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain SQL databases and SSIS/SSRS solutions. You will collaborate with network admins, developers, analysts, and vendors to deliver scalable data platforms with strong security and high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2–7 years of job experience.
• Minimum of 2 years with MS SQL Server.
• Experience with query optimization and transactional data strategies.
• Knowledge of database architecture and design.
• Knowledge of data modeling for enterprise databases.
• Experience with SSIS or integration tools.
• Experience with database testing.
• Experience with normalized and de-normalized data.
• ETL and data processing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new database structures for applications.
• Develop and maintain server-to-server integrations with partners (XML, APIs, FTP, web services).
• Improve server-to-server integrations and data flows.
• Document database processes; plan for backup, recovery and high availability with admins.
• Ensure 24x7 data availability and monitor system health; use source control.
