Job summary

Logisnext Americas Inc. seeks a Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain SQL databases, interfaces and SSIS/SSRS packages. You will collaborate with developers, analysts and vendors to ensure high availability, performance, and secure data handling.

The role requires 2–7 years of SQL Server experience, data modeling expertise, and a strong background in ETL and enterprise architectures. Hybrid work in Grand Rapids, MI is offered with 3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 2–7 years of experience in database development.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and ETL/SSIS pipelines.
• Knowledge of database architecture, data modeling and enterprise data strategies.
• Experience with query optimization and scalable data integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SQL databases, interfaces, and SSIS/SSRS packages.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and vendors on architecture and integration.
• Evolve database structures for access and maintainability; ensure 24x7 data availability.
• Document processes and plan for back-up, recovery and high availability.
• Monitor system health and apply best practices for data security and GDPR/JSOX.
