Job Description:
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr- Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of enterprise databases.
- Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security.
- Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports. May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code.
- May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge.
- Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users.
- Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required.
- This position will be used to help design the database structures for efficiency, and to migrate data from the existing EPH databases into the new structures.
