Responsibilities

• Monitor SQL Server environments for availability and health.
• Review database monitoring dashboards and alerting tools.
• Validate successful execution of SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Assist in verifying database backup operations.
• Participate in supervised database restore testing in non-production environments.
• Monitor disk utilization, storage growth, CPU usage, and memory trends.
• Support capacity tracking and utilization reporting.
• Assist in maintaining database inventories and environment documentation.
• Review performance metrics and learn to identify potential tuning opportunities.
• Participate in analysis of slow-running queries under DBA guidance.
