Job summary

EHS TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION is seeking a motivated Junior Database Administrator to support SQL Server environments, backups, and performance tuning on enterprise databases. You will work with senior DBAs and application developers to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.

You will assist with DB migrations, monitoring, and automation tasks, contributing to resilient database solutions and reliable operations across environments.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server or related DBMS.
• Experience writing SQL queries and using SSMS.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases and related DBMS.
• Monitor performance and perform routine maintenance for availability and reliability.
• Conduct backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Design, implement, and maintain database security, permissions, and access control.
• Develop, modify, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.
• Support replication and synchronization between SQL Servers and remote locations.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
