Job summary

Capnis in New York is seeking a Software Engineer (SQL & BI Reporting) to design and implement database programs for new and existing systems. You will write scripts, stored procedures, and functions for SQL Server 2008+ and build and maintain reports with Crystal Reports/ Windward.

Candidates should hold a BEngg or a B.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering, have at least 1 year of experience (freshers welcome), and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) or B.Sc in Computer Science/Engineering is required.
• MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, Oracle PLSQL, and TSQL skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform database programming for new and existing systems.
• Write scripts, stored procedures, and functions for database systems with SQL Server 2008 and above.
• Build and maintain reports with Crystal Reports/ Windward.
• Troubleshoot database problems, queries, and errors in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and complete database programming documentation.
